FAQs
Everything you might want to ask
Who can attend your courses?
Our courses are designed for appropriately registered healthcare professionals. You will be asked for your registration body and number when you enquire, and eligibility is confirmed before your training date.
Do I need previous aesthetics experience?
Not for Foundation courses — they are designed for registered healthcare professionals beginning their aesthetics journey. Advanced courses are for practitioners who have already completed foundation-level education.
Are the courses CPD accredited?
Selected Academy courses are independently CPD accredited, meaning the educational content has undergone external review against recognised continuing professional development standards. Each course page displays its accreditation and allocated CPD points.
How many delegates are on each course?
We intentionally keep our practical groups small, with approximately 2–3 delegates, allowing more individual trainer support and considerably more supervised practical experience.
Is there learning to complete before the course?
Selected courses include structured online pre-learning. Completing the theory before you arrive means your face-to-face day concentrates on assessment, treatment planning, technique and practical application rather than absorbing an entirely new subject.
Will I treat live models?
Yes. Supervised live-model treatment forms an important part of your practical training. The specific treatments performed will always depend upon the individual model’s clinical assessment and suitability.
How long is the training day?
Courses typically run from 9:00am until 4:00pm. Full joining instructions and arrival information are provided before your training date.
Where does training take place?
Training is delivered at Aesthetic Precision Medical Training Academy, 17 Hardres Street, Ramsgate, Kent CT11 8QD.
What do I receive with my course?
Depending on the course: your online pre-learning, a full practical training day, live-model experience, a comprehensive handbook, the complimentary Academy Delegate Pack, clinical and business resources, certification, Academy graduate benefits and ongoing educational support.
Will I receive support after my training?
Yes. Ongoing post-training educational support is available to Academy graduates as you begin consolidating your learning in practice, along with exclusive discounts across selected professional aesthetic products.
Can I train in more than one treatment?
Yes. Each course is booked separately and keeps its own dedicated practical day and its own certification. Courses are often scheduled on consecutive days, so more than one can be completed in the same week.
How do I secure my place?
Choose a date and your place is held while we verify your professional registration, usually within one working day. The full course fee is payable at booking, alongside acceptance of the Academy booking, cancellation and transfer policy. Places are limited to 2–3 delegates, so dates are confirmed in the order they are booked.
