Booking, Cancellation & Transfer Policy

Please read the following terms carefully before booking your training.

Places on our courses are intentionally limited and considerable preparation takes place before each training date, including allocation of trainer time, organisation of live models, preparation of course materials, delegate packs, products and consumables.

By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to this policy.

Booking Confirmation

Your place is confirmed once:

• Your booking details have been completed
• You meet the eligibility requirements for the selected course
• Full payment has been received
• You have accepted the Academy Booking, Cancellation & Transfer Policy

Professional registration details and evidence of previous qualifications may be requested where relevant.

Online Pre-Learning

Where a course includes online pre-learning, this forms an essential part of your training programme.

E-learning login details will normally be issued approximately 1–2 weeks before your practical training date, provided any applicable statutory cancellation period following your original booking has passed.

All required online learning must be completed before attending your face-to-face practical training.

Delegates who have not completed the required pre-course learning may be unable to participate in practical training on their booked date.

It is the delegate’s responsibility to ensure sufficient time is allowed to complete the required learning before attendance.

Your Right to Cancel

Where training is booked online or at a distance, statutory consumer cancellation rights may apply.

Where applicable, you will normally have 14 days from the date your booking is made in which to exercise your statutory right to cancel.

Nothing within this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

Once any applicable statutory cancellation period has expired, the Academy cancellation terms below will apply.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the limited number of places available and the preparation required for each delegate, the following cancellation terms apply after any applicable statutory cancellation period:

More Than 6 Weeks Before Your Course

You may cancel your place. A £300 booking and administration fee will be retained and the remaining balance refunded.

Between 4 and 6 Weeks Before Your Course

A 50% refund of the course fee will be provided.

Less Than 4 Weeks Before Your Course

Course fees are non-refundable. At this stage, your place has been reserved specifically for you and the Academy may already have committed trainer time, models, products, resources and other costs associated with your attendance.

Changing Your Course Date

We understand that circumstances can occasionally change.

You may request to transfer your booking to another available training date provided that a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice is given.

A booking may be transferred once only, subject to availability.

Requests to change a training date with less than 4 weeks’ notice cannot normally be accommodated and will be treated in accordance with the cancellation policy.

Once a booking has already been transferred, any further request to change or cancel will be subject to the standard cancellation terms.

Course places cannot be transferred to another person without prior agreement from Aesthetic Precision Medical Training Academy.

Late Bookings

Where a course is booked shortly before the scheduled training date, different arrangements may be required in relation to pre-course learning and cancellation rights.

These will be discussed and confirmed with the delegate at the time of booking.

Non-Attendance

Failure to attend your booked course without the required notice will be treated as a no-show.

Course fees will be non-refundable and the booking cannot be transferred to another date.

Failure to Complete Pre-Course Learning

Where online pre-learning is mandatory, it must be completed before practical attendance.

If the required learning has not been completed and the delegate is therefore unable to proceed with practical training, this will not automatically entitle the delegate to a refund or free transfer.

Any request to move to another course date will remain subject to the Academy’s normal cancellation and transfer policy.

Delegate Eligibility

It is the delegate’s responsibility to ensure they meet the stated entry requirements for the course they are booking. We may request:

• Professional registration details
• Professional PIN or registration number
• Evidence of previous aesthetic qualifications
• Evidence of prerequisite training for Advanced courses

If a delegate provides inaccurate or misleading information regarding their eligibility and is subsequently unable to undertake the training, normal cancellation terms may apply.

Live Models

Live-model training forms an important part of many Academy courses.

Models are arranged according to the course being delivered and are always subject to individual clinical assessment and suitability.

Specific treatment areas or techniques cannot be guaranteed on the day.

Patient safety, clinical appropriateness and individual treatment planning will always take priority over completing a predetermined list of treatments.

Academy Cancellation or Rescheduling

In the unlikely event that Aesthetic Precision Medical Training Academy needs to cancel or reschedule a training course, delegates will be offered either:

• Transfer to an alternative suitable training date, or
• A refund of the course fees paid for the affected training

We recommend that delegates book flexible or refundable travel and accommodation wherever possible.

The Academy cannot normally accept responsibility for travel, accommodation or other associated costs resulting from cancellation or rescheduling, except where required by law.

Important Before Booking

Please ensure that you are able to attend your selected training date before completing payment.

Places are limited and resources, products, delegate materials and live models may be arranged specifically for your attendance.

Please remember:

• Statutory cancellation rights are unaffected
• After any applicable statutory cancellation period, Academy cancellation terms apply
• Cancellations within 4 weeks of training are non-refundable
• Date transfers require a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice
• A booking may be transferred once only
• Mandatory online learning must be completed before practical attendance
